Pirfenex 200 mg (Pirfenidone) Tablets are prescribed for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a chronic and progressive lung disease characterized by scarring of lung tissue.

Usage and Dosage:

• Initial Dose Titration:

  • Days 1–7: 200 mg three times daily (600 mg/day)

  • Days 8–14: 400 mg three times daily (1,200 mg/day)

  • Day 15 onward: 600 mg three times daily (1,800 mg/day)

• Administration: Take with food to reduce gastrointestinal side effects.
